You are welcomed at the studio and shown around together. We take time to talk about your vision for the day and what you would love to feel when you leave with your artwork in hand. Prosecco is waiting. The studio is entirely yours.
No rushing. No schedule beyond yours. This day has been reserved for the two of you and nobody else.

Professional hair and makeup. For both of you.
Both partners receive professional hair and makeup before the session begins. Our artist brings the most luminous, confident version of each of you to the surface.
We talk through looks and wardrobe together beforehand so you both arrive knowing exactly what you are wearing and why.

The shoot. Just the two of you.
Ashley directs you through the session with warmth and patience, finding the poses and the moments that show who you actually are together, not who you think you should be in a photograph. The studio is completely private.

Is this experience only for couples in a romantic relationship?
The Soulmates experience is designed for any two people whose connection deserves to be permanently recorded. That includes romantic partners of any kind, but it also works beautifully for a mother and daughter, two best friends celebrating a milestone, or any two people who want to mark the depth of their bond. If the love runs deeper than words, this experience is for it.
How intimate does the session need to be?
Entirely up to you. The session can be as tender and intimate or as warm and playful as feels right for your relationship. Ashley will discuss your vision during the discovery call and again on the day itself, and will direct you into poses and moments that feel natural for the two of you. Nothing is ever pushed and nothing is ever assumed. You set the tone and we follow your lead.
What should we wear?
We help you plan your wardrobe together before the day. Most couples bring a couple of coordinated looks, something relaxed and personal and something a little bolder or more dressed up. The key is that both of you feel comfortable and confident. We send a full preparation guide once you book and talk through your looks in advance so there are no surprises on the day.
One of us is nervous about being photographed. Will that matter?
This is the most common thing we hear. Ashley has spent years working with people who are convinced they do not photograph well, and her skill is in finding the version of each person that the camera loves. The direction is patient, unhurried, and always with humour. Having your partner in the room with you is also one of the most natural relaxants in the world. You will both surprise yourselves.
