You arrive. We take it from here.
You are greeted at the studio and shown around. There is no rush. We take time to talk about your vision for the day, the looks you have in mind, and what you would love to feel when you leave.
Prosecco is waiting. So is someone who is genuinely delighted you are here.

Hair and makeup — 02
Professional hair and makeup.
You spend an hour with our professional hair and makeup artist. This is not about transformation. It is about bringing the most polished, luminous version of you to the surface.
While you are in the chair, Ashley comes through to talk through the looks for the session, making sure every image is exactly what you had in mind. Tell us your preference and we work to it — natural and glowing, or more editorial and bold.
The experience — 03
The shoot itself. Guided every step.
You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to have done anything like this before. Ashley directs you through every moment, with patience, warmth, and an eye for the version of you that most women have never seen themselves.
The session is entirely private. Just you, Ashley, and the space to be entirely yourself.

The reveal — 04
The reveal. The moment everything changes.
Your private viewing and design consultation takes place the same day, or at a separate appointment if you prefer. You see your images for the first time in a calm, beautiful setting.
We guide you through choosing your collection and selecting the artwork that will live in your home. Every collection leaves the studio wrapped in our signature ribbon.

Every question is a good one — the discovery call is where we answer everything
I have never done anything like this. Is that normal?
Almost every woman who books with us says exactly that. In fact, women who have never done this before often have the most powerful experience of all. You do not need confidence going in. That is what the experience gives you.
I am not sure I photograph well.
That is exactly why we do this. The hair and makeup, the posing direction, the lighting, the patience — all of it exists because most women believe they do not photograph well until they see themselves through this lens. You bring yourself. We take care of the rest.
What should I wear or bring?
We send a full preparation guide once you book, and we talk through your looks together before the session. Many women bring a mix of items from lingerie to oversized shirts to nothing but a sheet. We have a studio wardrobe available too. There is no wrong answer, only what feels right for you.
Do I need to book far in advance?
We photograph only three women each week, which means dates do book ahead. We ask for a minimum of seven days between booking and your session, and we book up to six months out. The discovery call is the first step, and it costs nothing.
What happens at the design consultation?
You see your images together with Ashley in a private, unhurried setting. We talk about which photographs resonate, where your artwork will live in your home, and what collection feels right for you. There is no pressure and no time limit. Most women find this is the most unexpectedly emotional part of the whole experience.
How much should I expect to invest?
The studio experience fee is £250 and covers everything on your day. Most women invest around £2,000 and upwards in their collection. Payment plans are available as a convenience, with no interest over three months. We talk through investment fully on your discovery call.

Boudoir photography in Bath
Where to find us, and who we photograph.
Bath Boutique Studio is a private boudoir photography studio on Broad Street, in the centre of Bath. Everything happens under one roof — the consultation, the hair and makeup, the shoot itself, and the reveal — so you are never moved between locations or handed between people.
Most of the women we photograph travel in from Bath and Bristol, and we regularly welcome clients from across Somerset, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. We take only three boudoir sessions each week, so the studio, and the day, belong entirely to one woman at a time.
