You arrive at the studio and are welcomed in. We take time to talk through your vision for the day before you spend an hour with our professional hair and makeup artist. Then the shoot itself begins, with Ashley directing every moment. The same day or at a separate appointment, you have your private viewing and design consultation where you see your images for the first time and choose your collection.

The whole day is unhurried and entirely private. Only three women are photographed each week.

Almost every woman who books says exactly that. First-timers often have the most powerful experience of all, because nothing about what they see coming. You do not need confidence going in. That is what the experience gives you.

The studio is completely private for the duration of your experience. There are no other clients, no other bookings on the same day, and no interruptions. A professional hair and makeup artist is present during the preparation stage. Beyond that, the experience is between you and Ashley.

The experience day itself typically takes between three and five hours depending on the number of looks and how the session flows. There is no clock watching and no rushing. The design consultation takes place the same day or can be booked separately if you prefer time to process your images first.

Bath Boutique Studio is at 35 Broad Street, Bath, BA1 5LP, in the heart of Bath city centre. There is parking nearby and the studio is a short walk from Bath Spa train station. Full directions and parking information are sent with your booking confirmation.

That is exactly why we do this. The hair and makeup, the posing direction, the lighting, the patience, all of it exists because most women believe they do not photograph well until they see themselves through this lens. You bring yourself. Ashley takes care of the rest.

We send a full preparation guide once you book and talk through your looks together before the session. Many women bring a mix of lingerie, an oversized shirt, something meaningful to them. We have a studio wardrobe available too. There are no wrong answers, only what feels right for you.

The studio, the hair and makeup, the direction, the artwork, and the transformation are all identical. The only difference is what you wear. Beauty portraits are fully clothed, in your own clothes, styled the way you choose. The right one is simply the one that feels right for you.

Whatever makes you feel most like yourself at your best. Most women bring two or three outfits. We send a full preparation guide once you book and talk through your looks in advance. There are no wrong choices, only ones that feel right.

No. It is designed for any two people whose connection deserves to be permanently recorded. That includes romantic partners, but also a mother and daughter, two best friends, or any two people marking the depth of their bond. If the love runs deeper than words, this experience is for it.

Yes. The £250 studio experience fee covers both partners, including professional hair and makeup for both. It is not a per-person fee.

A headshot session produces a headshot. This produces a full portrait library across multiple looks, alongside artwork for your home. The experience includes professional hair and makeup, expert direction, a private studio, and a private design consultation. The result is not a better headshot. It is a completely different category of image.

If you are a VAT-registered business owner, the experience and your collection can be invoiced to your business. Portraits for professional use are a recognised business expense. We provide a full VAT invoice on request. Always confirm with your own accountant, as eligibility depends on your individual circumstances.

The studio experience fee is £250 and covers the full day including professional hair and makeup. Your artwork collection is chosen separately at your private design consultation. Investment in your collection is discussed personally once we understand what the experience means for you. Most women find it is the easiest decision they have made in a long time.

Two collections are available. The Brilliance Collection is a set of hand-matted fine art prints in a signature keepsake box. The Wall Art Collection is a curated arrangement of large-format statement pieces for your home. Both are presented at your private design consultation and both leave the studio in our signature ribbon packaging.

Yes. Payment plans spread the collection investment across three interest-free monthly instalments. They are available as a convenience, not a workaround. Your collection is held securely and delivered in full once the final payment is made. Payment plans can be arranged at your design consultation.

The £250 session fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. It secures your private date and covers everything included in your experience day. Rescheduling is available with notice. The first reschedule carries no fee. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

Print products are delivered within eight weeks of your design consultation order. Digital galleries are delivered within 30 days of your session. An expedited option is available for an additional fee. Your collection bonus expires 30 days after your shoot date.

We ask for a minimum of seven days between booking and your session. We book up to six months in advance. Only three women are photographed each week, so dates do book ahead. The discovery call is the first step and costs nothing. From there we find a date that works for you.

The first reschedule carries no fee. With 14 or more days notice a £25 reschedule fee applies. With less than 14 days notice the fee is £100. Each additional reschedule is £100. Your new date must be selected within 24 hours and within 90 days of the original booking.

Sessions take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. Start times are 9:30am or 3:30pm. Your exact time will be confirmed at booking.

The experience is designed to be private and unhurried for you. For the Soulmates experience, both partners are of course present throughout. For individual experiences, we kindly ask that guests are not present during the shoot itself, as this allows you to relax fully and be completely yourself in the space.
