What mature boudoir is
This is not about looking younger. It is about finally seeing who you are.
So many women spend decades behind the camera. Photographing the children, the holidays, the milestones of everyone they love. Somewhere along the way, they stopped appearing in the story themselves.
Mature boudoir is a private, unrushed experience in our Broad Street studio, built entirely around you. The confidence, the softness, the strength and the knowing that only come with the years you have lived. Captured as artwork, and celebrated.

Black and white, soft light, and nothing to hide behind.
Many of the women we photograph choose black and white for their artwork. It strips away everything that does not matter and leaves only what does. Your expression. Your shape. The light on your skin. The quiet confidence of a woman who knows exactly who she is.
Lingerie, silk, a crisp white shirt, a favourite knit. We plan your looks together beforehand, and we have a studio wardrobe you are welcome to use.

You are welcomed at the studio and shown around, with prosecco waiting. We talk through your vision, your looks, and what you would love to feel when you leave.
No rushing. Only three women each week, so the day belongs to you.

Professional hair and makeup.
An hour with our professional hair and makeup artist, bringing the most luminous version of you to the surface. While you are in the chair, Ashley talks through every look for the day.
Natural and glowing, or editorial and bold. Tell us, and we work to it.

Your experience. Guided every step.
You do not need to have done anything like this before. Ashley directs every moment with warmth and patience. The studio is entirely private.

The reveal. The moment everything changes.
At your private viewing and design consultation you see your artwork for the first time and choose your collection. It leaves the studio wrapped in our signature ribbon.

What women usually want to know.
Every question is a good one, and the discovery call is where we answer everything
Am I too old for a boudoir experience?
No. There is no age at which a woman stops deserving to be celebrated. We welcome women in their forties, fifties, sixties, seventies and beyond, and many tell us they wish they had done it sooner.
I do not love my body. Will that matter?
Almost every woman arrives saying something like this. Ashley knows how to pose and light every body beautifully, and you will be guided through every moment. You decide how much or how little you reveal. Most women are astonished by what they see at their reveal.
What should I wear or bring?
Bring more than you think you need. Most women arrive with three or four looks, often a mix of lingerie, a favourite oversized shirt, and something with meaning attached to it. We also have a studio wardrobe you are welcome to use. A full preparation guide comes to you once you book, and we plan your looks together beforehand so nothing is left to the morning of.
Will anyone else see my artwork?
No, not unless you want them to. Nothing is shared publicly without your written permission, and permission is asked separately for every single image. If you would prefer to be photographed with your face out of frame, in silhouette, or entirely anonymously, tell us on your discovery call and we will photograph you that way from the start.
How much should I expect to invest?
The studio experience fee is £250 and covers everything on your day. Your artwork is chosen separately at your design consultation. Collections range from £500 to £4,500. Interest-free payment plans are available as a convenience, agreed with you at your design consultation. We talk through investment fully on your discovery call.

Where to find us, and who we celebrate.
Bath Boutique Studio is a private boudoir photography studio on Broad Street, in the centre of Bath. Everything happens under one roof, the hair and makeup, the experience itself, and the reveal, so you are never moved between locations or handed between people.
We welcome women from Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. We take only three boudoir experiences each week, so the studio, and the day, belong entirely to one woman at a time.
