How long does the makeover and photoshoot last
I recommend that you allow up to 3-4 hours the photoshoot this includes the image review and selection straight after your photoshoot.
What if I am not Photogenic? It’s not your job to be photogenic. It’s our job to know the angles, the lighting, the lenses, and the poses to best showcase every beautiful thing about you. You come and relax. It’s our job to do the rest.
I have no experience in photoshoot. Will somebody show me what to do?
YES! You will be fully guided during the shoot in my portrait studio in Bath City Centre. I will pose you to the last detail. Normally I demonstrate the pose myself first, in some cases I may also show you some visuals on my phone. You do not need any experience at all to create beautiful images with me.

What should I wear?
After you book you will receive a complimentary Style and Prep Guide with advice on what to wear and how to prepare. If you require any additional help then Ashley is more than happy to jump on a Zoom and guide you. In addition to what you’ll bring, we have a collection studio wardrobe you are welcome to use.
Do you retouch the images
You will see you images unretouched but once purchased your images will be fully retouched at no extra charge.
How far in advance do I need to book
Your booking should be made at least 1-2 weeks in advance to allow a thorough preparation for your shoot. If you are considering a wall art, please allow extra 3 weeks for the production and shipment of your art work. A magazine style portrait is often once in a lifetime experience. We want to ensure your portrait investment is one of a kind and the best it can be.
I’m feeling a little nervous. Who will be present during my session?
We are all female staff and on the day of your session there will be only my makeup artist and myself with you. The makeup artist usually leaves after the makeover unless we do some fabric draping/ throwing which happens at the beginning of the photoshoot. Usually it will be only myself and the client(s) for the photoshoot part. If you need some support they can wait in the waiting area during your shoot or can have a walk around town as we are right in the centre of town.
How long will it take to complete my order
Any digital images will be released once retouched, which depending on the number of images can be up to 7 days from the order. Print product and albums will be delivered 4-6 weeks following your photoshoot.
What kind of Products does the studio offer?
After your session, we’ll present your final images to you in a private design consultation. There, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite shots and select which portraits will be purchased & retouched. Ways to treasure your images include products such as Folio Collections, Printed Albums and Gallery Wall Art.
What if I don’t like my images
I pride myself in delivering beautiful magazine style portraits of everyday women in my Bath based studio but if for whatever reason you do not like any of the images, I will gladly re-take your portraits without the session fee within 30 days from the reveal appointment. This is my 100% satisfaction guarantee. Of course the art work I create is considered a custom product which cannot be re-sold. Due to the nature of my products, all sales are final.
Will my photos be made public
No, they will be kept private if you do not sign the release. Of course I would love to share your beautiful photos in my portfolio to help my business grow but I will respect your wish if you’d rather kept them just to yourself.
What do I need to bring to my shoot? What about waxing, tanning, nails? Can I bring my boyfriend’s football jersey?
Plan to bring at least 3-5 outfits to be photographed. We also have lots of wardrobe items and props available at the studio to accessorize your outfits. We’ll send you a detailed prep guide before your shoot with everything else you’ll need to know about getting ready.
How much does a Bath Boutique Studio Photoshoot cost?
There is £75 session fee to book your shoot, which includes professional hair and makeup and approximately 4 hours at the studio for your photoshoot experience. Right after you photoshoot, you'll get to see your photos and decide what you want to purchase from your shoot. We offer luxury albums or folio boxes, framed wall art, and digital downloads and prices range from £500 -£4560.

Where is the studio located?
We are based at 35 Broad Street in Bath town centre. A 10 minute walk from the train station and bus station. There is plenty of parking nearby either in Waitrose, Cattlemarket or Broadstreet carparks.
